This Privacy Policy explains how SaveWallet ("SaveWallet", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the SaveWallet mobile application and the website at savewallet.io (together, the "Service"). SaveWallet is a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet for the TRON network. We have built the Service to need as little information about you as possible.

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone who downloads or uses the SaveWallet app or visits our website. By using the Service, you agree to the handling of information as described here.

2. Information we do not collect

SaveWallet has no servers that hold your identity or funds. We do not collect or store:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address;
  • Account credentials — there are no accounts to create;
  • Your recovery phrase, private keys, or wallet passwords;
  • Government identifiers or KYC documents;
  • Behavioral profiles or advertising identifiers.

3. Information stored on your device

The data that makes your wallet work stays on your device under your control:

  • Recovery phrase & private keys. Generated on-device and stored encrypted in your device's secure storage (e.g. iOS Keychain / Secure Enclave or the Android Keystore). They are unlocked only by your biometrics or passcode and are never transmitted to us.
  • Wallet settings & address book. Preferences such as currency, theme, and saved addresses are kept locally on the device.
  • Optional encrypted backup. If you choose to back up your wallet, the backup is encrypted and only you hold the key to it.

If you delete the app, locally stored data is removed with it. Funds always remain recoverable from your recovery phrase on any compatible wallet — so keep that phrase safe.

4. Network & third-party services

To show balances, broadcast transactions, and display token data, the app communicates with public blockchain infrastructure and a small number of service providers. When it does, those providers may receive technical data such as your IP address and wallet (public) addresses, as is inherent to using a public blockchain:

  • TRON network & public nodes / explorers — to read balances and submit signed transactions. All TRON transactions are public and permanently recorded on the blockchain.
  • Price & token-metadata providers — to display fiat values and token information.
  • WalletConnect & dApps you choose to connect to — only when you initiate a connection. dApps you visit have their own privacy practices.
  • App stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) — distribute the app and may collect their own diagnostics under their respective policies.

We do not control how public blockchains or third-party dApps process data. Please review their policies before connecting.

5. Analytics & tracking

SaveWallet contains no advertising SDKs and no cross-app tracking. We do not sell or rent any information, because we do not collect personal information to begin with. Our website does not use tracking cookies.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is typically nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of the data stored on your device and can remove it at any time by deleting the app. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights regarding personal data — you can contact us with any such request.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
